Built on the site of a former Gunpowder works, the Clock Tower is a unique development that blends the traditional Lakeland slate buildings and heritage of the area with everything you would expect from a modern office environment.

The Clock Tower buildings have stood at the centre of the quiet hamlet of Low Wood since their construction in 1849. This now tranquil hamlet boasts impressive industrial credentials, being part of the cradle for the Industrial Revolution, with Iron furnaces dating back to the early 1600's and a Gunpowder works operating on the site up to 1935.

Since the closure of the works, the main building with its impressive clock-tower, has been used for a variety of purposes and kept in good repair, making the site ideal for redevelopment into the present complex of 8 business units with additional future development phases planned to add a further 6.

With floor areas ranging from 18 to 162 square metres (194 to 1744 square feet), the site has excellent transportation links, ample parking, river-front access with wooded grounds and all the features and facilities you would expect from a modern business development.
